Placer only brought a few wrestlers to this tough tournament, but those that came wrestled well. Macoy Reed lost his first match but battled back to take 7th by winning the rest of his matches. Justus Haskin, who decided to come at the last minute made the most of his opportunity to take 6th after breaking his bracket and knocking out seeded wrestlers. He finished 6th on the day. Logan Moon battled through a fever to finish 3rd, pinning his River City opponent that had barely beaten him earlier in the day. Heart is all I need to say there. River Rogers suffered only one defeat, dominating the rest of his opponents and taking 3rd on the day. Great job Hillmen!
