On
Saturday, the Hillmen continued their tournament conquests. Haley
Johnson came out of nowhere to place 7th at 126 with some mean blast
doubles to seal the win. Robbie Parsons finished a good night at 6th
place. Joseph Valdez and River Rogers battled their way through the
consolation bracket to have impressive wins for 3rd place. Daniel Moon
came up just short of his goal with an impressive 2nd place finish
against a top seeded Whitney wrestler. Making their presence known, Noah
Graham and Paul Banks both finished first leaving no doubt that they
are hungry for more. For Banks, first place was not enough. He was also
selected as outstanding tournament wrestler for the upper weights.
